FGV ranks among the world’s 10 best think tanks
The Fundação Getulio Vargas ranked seventh among the best think tanks in the world, according to the TTCSP Global Go To Think Tanks Index, compiled annually since 2008 by the University of Pennsylvania. The Fundação rose two slots from last year’s index.
Also, for the ninth year running, the FGV was rated the best think tank in Latin America and, for the second year, held its position as the world’s best-administered think tank.
Of the 7,815 think tanks examined, distributed across 187 countries, the FGV placed best in Latin America in 12 categories, including social policy, institutional collaboration, domestic and foreign economic policy, and best use of networks and social media.
If the FGV ranks among the top 10 think tanks in the world, and first in Latin America, it is as the result of a collective endeavour by the institution to align teaching and theoretical and applied research.
