FGV Executive Education will hold a free webinar about innovation in infrastructure regulation and concessions on August 3, 2021, at 7 pm, on FGV’s YouTube channel.

The event will be the latest edition of the FGV Executive Education Forum in Brasília. It will look at regulation, which is an essential condition for the success of infrastructure project concessions. Innovations in terms of regulatory models and instruments determine the dynamics of development in markets for the provision of infrastructure equipment and services. These are central themes of the new growth and development agenda for the Brazilian economy.

The speakers will be Ricardo Fonseca, the regulatory policy director at the National Civil Aviation Secretariat (ANAC); Manoel Renato, the director of programs at the Investment Partnerships Program Special Secretariat (SPPI); and Bruno Cunha, an associate researcher at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Public Policies, Strategies and Development and a public policy specialist at the Economy Ministry. The moderator will be Mauro Santos Silva, the coordinator of FGV’s Regulation and Contemporary Economics MBA Program.

This webinar will be held by FGV’s Executive MBA in Economics and Management: Regulation. This course is designed to share knowledge about skills that add value to strategic functions in areas related to regulation, to provide a broad view of regulatory agencies’ experiences around the world, and to promote understanding of the capacity to produce innovative regulations that encourage a stable environment for investors in general, aligning strategies and processes in the area of regulation with market needs and adding value to countries’ regulatory frameworks.
