Just Transition

Creating resilient societies and diversified economies towards sustainable development

Challenges

As a paradox, the transition toward sustainable economies might cause economic and societal imbalances. To avoid it, we need to transform the actual socioeconomic structures including new areas of actions and promoting the conversion of the traditional ones into new shapes. These economic regime shifts have to be managed to guarantee socioeconomic inclusion and equal opportunities for everyone, looking for creating shared value within a carbon-neutral society.

We endeavor to generate knowledge and implement projects in specific key issues related to the Just Transition concept, such as: structural change and economic diversification, innovation for local sustainable development, sustainable mining.
