Digital Government in Brazil: The Institutional and Regulatory Framework of Brazil from an OECD Perspective, May 2020

In August 2017, the School of Economics of FGV (FGV EESP), Center on Global Trade and Investments (CCGI) launched a research group to study the costs and opportunities of the accession of Brazil to the OECD.

Vera Thorstensen leads this group. Vera is a professor at FGV School of Economics (FGV EESP) and Head of the Center on Global Trade and Investments.

About the working paper “Digital Government in Brazil: The Institutional and Regulatory Framework of Brazil from an OECD Perspective”:

The following work aims to present the institutional framework and Brazilian government’s policies within the public sector in the context of the digital transformation through the OECD’s perspective. The OECD Digital Government Review of Brazil: Towards the Digital Transformation of the Public Sector report war adopted as the guiding material, in which are described the evaluations and recommendations for the efforts and governmental initiatives in the digital area.
