Sustainable Cities

Delivering effective services to citizens to have a livable, resilient, innovative and sustainable city experience

Challenges

The Sustainable Development idea changes the usual boundaries and standards to conceive, plan and implement urban solutions. Social and environmental issues, besides economics ones, are considered and they are leveraged by innovation waves. Cities’ challenges and opportunities regarding several sectors, such as education, health, natural capital, waste, water and sanitation, energy, security, etc. can be tacked and seized within a new framework of analysis based on sustainable development and innovation.

We strive to identify solutions on a business model and institutional frameworks levels on specific issues related to sustainable cities, such as: City-to-city cooperation, Smart Cities and urban regeneration.
