FGV’s Schools and Research Centers

FGV builds on academic excellence and tradition and is responsible for the development of economic and social indicators for the Brazilian government, including inflation indexes, since the late 1940s. It is composed of faculties, which all occupy a prominent place in the higher education ranking of the Brazilian Ministry of Education; research centers, responsible for the production of most the relevant public goods in social sciences in brazil; a technical advisory center which supports public, private and third-sector institutions in Brazil and abroad, to achieve excellence in their administrative and financial management processes, and develops innovative public policies in line with national and global standards.
